Non-Fermi liquid behavior in the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model for a one-dimensional incoherent semimetal

Abstract We study a two-band dispersive Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) model in 1 + dimension. suggest that describes semimetal with quadratic dispersion at half-filling. compute the Green's function saddle point using combination of analytical and numerical methods. Employing scaling symmetry Schwinger-Dyson equations becomes transparent strongly limit, we show exact solution problem yields distinct type non-Fermi liquid sublinear $\rho\propto T^{2/5}$ temperature dependence resistivity. A analysis indicates this state corresponds to fixed SYK for band touching semimetal.
